The big “Mack” Wedding!!! (Sorry Rick…had to play on her maiden name)

Now Beth is a Gentner….and proud of it!!!

The day was unbelieveable and just a bunch of fun!

Fun ring shot…thanks Lisa Adams for helping out as my second, you the girl!!!

And this was just the bomb….they are the most relaxed couple EVER!!!  They had quite a few kids in their wedding party and while the ceremony was

going on the kids would just climb up on Beth and her Matron of Honor Kaye.  It was so sweet!

Hang 10—or I LOVE YOU—hawaiian style!  Poor lil “J” couldn’t get his fingers the right way but look at the determination in

his face to try!

Did I tell you this was a BIG wedding party!!!!

Kaye was Beth’s Matron of Honor and her toast was extra special and quite touching.  She was followed by her son who was the Best Man and boy, then the water works REALLY started flowing.  His speech was particularily sweet in mentioning he thought of her as a sister and was trying to make her brother proud in how he treats and takes care of her.  Beth’s brother had died young but his memory was felt during the day!

Proud Dad holding and dancing Beth all around.

This is particularly cool gift to give to all the guests who attended.

Hey—he is trying to steal my JOB!

I believe that he knows her….at least I hope!

Beth’s dad is just so great…that man can dance.

Not to mention Grandma Mills….she boogied down with no stop in sight!

Everybody was kicking up their heels and sandles.

The DJ, Joe Nagraba from  www.ultimateentertainmentinc.com was AMAZING!!!  He can really get the crowd into the party like I never seen!  This was fabulous, here he had all the people in a circle singing bits of “American Pie”.

for all you photographer geeks….DRAGGIN the SHUTTER~

AH—-last, but not least, the bride and groom….relaxed and reveling in their wedded bliss!

Ann Arborteum’s beauty was matched by this family!

Meeting up with the “B” family in downtown AA (that is Ann Arbor to those who don’t know the AA squared) was simply pleasurable.  Not only was the area picturesque but they are a complete joy.  Lil “K” was finding out that the dirt path felt funny under her chubby fingers and then promptly wiped them on her lovely ‘WHITE’ dress!!!  What can you do?  She is just being a normal 15 month old right!  Climbing up on the bench, climbing down on the bench, climbing up on the bench….well, you get the idea.

Looking at her activity and looking how wonderful her mom and dad were coping with her energy while trying to get everyone together for that perfect shot made me think of how quickly this time will go for them.  How much I try to remember my own and how they were back when they were 15 months old and it is really tough sometimes to recall that all so distant memory.  I envy this family.  They will have these pictures of that day and they will have vivid proof and memory of how that day was and just how their little darling was so energetic, laughed, and giggled while walking with a wobble under the uneven ground.

Here is your sneak-peek…..loved being with you that day!  Aron says “HI”!

She is a Senior….I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!

Here she is…my neice!!  BOY, when I think of how I went through the years with watching her and her brother grow from newborns to children to tweens to teens it really….it really…it REALLY MAKES ME FEEL OLD!!!!

But look at her, isn’t she amazingly adorable!  My sister-in-law (her mother!) came with us on this photo shoot to be my second eyes…she is herself a model and she brought to this session a professional eye to the posing. (This is a topic that I feel I will never master but have fun trying!)

And Andrea was very gracious and patient with us and all our demands and commands to ‘Arms up..oh no..arms down’ -’hold your glasses this way’-'to the left’- ‘to the right’-'can you bend your elbow more?’  WOW—now really thinking back we really put her through the ringer!!  But the images are amazing and she looks good doing all our querky movements!

I love you girl and look how incrediably beauteeus you are!!!  Here is just a few….kinda a quick look through and my FAVS!

Isn’t it fun to dress up babies!!!

I went out west to visit my nephew and to take his 6 month old pictures.  He really is only 5 1/2 months old but my schedule is getting SO full this was literally the only weekend I have available for the next 3 months!!!  REALLY, the ONLY ONE!!

So—we went to a little boutique in Tacoma after being picked up at the Sea Tac, of course after smothering the my nephew with loads of kisses, and picked up some cute outfits along with Baby Legs.  Well, my brother thought we were insane for buying a boy baby leg warmers but I have to say these are by far the funnest things to have little ones wear and if you live in even a bit of colder climates a must!!  You can put these under pants and/or skirts for the girls, in the winter and keep those little legs warm when they are transferred from place to place. And, these are easy to remove if they get too hot!!!

Look below for the ‘gerber’ baby in the Baby Legs!

Here is to all the SPARTIES that look at my blog!!  My brother was a gymnast for Michigan State and he bleeds Green…..well, hypothetically speaking!

Here he is just a reading away….He is SO ADVANCED!

And here we start with the three babies they had when they met and married……

Little Ms. A….a senior with a flare for Audrey Hepburn!!

I can always count on a great time when I get to shoot a senior.  Miss “A” did not dissappoint.  She is simply adorable.  A girl with an aire of class that really exudes from her and always ready with a smile!  In fact, I would ask for her to give me a more ’serious’ look and well…between the smiling, giggling she would throw an amazing look that had me gasp!

Love shooting her…hope you love the peek here.

A Cherub fell to earth and landed in a forest of flowers!

That is what it felt when I was able to photograph this lovely lil girl and her mother!!  She was tentative and yet very inquisitive.  She was just walking and boy she really got a workout as did I.  Don’t you remember when your little one just began walking and that is all that they are interested in doing!!

I was so happy to be able to do these shots at a house that I have admired from afar for so long.  Come to find out it is a teacher who works in my children’s elementary schools home and he and his wife were beyond accommodating on letting us tramp around the yard.  We even went inside the OLD school house/renovated home and that was completely amazing to see all the work they had done in there.  Gary…where do you find the time??Then to top it off we had the MOST scrumptious muffins I have EVER tasted made by his wife, Mary!  Thanks…you kinda ruined it for me to eat any muffins elsewhere…but thank you for letting me taste a bit of muffin heaven!

Here is your sneak peek Lindsay….you two are beautiful….wait till you see the rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
