Mr. Happy…..and his two toothums

Finally, I am happy to say, I am posting Mr. Happy’s pictures and let me tell you what a little cutie he is!

I laugh so hard at the babies who are just as happy as can be and laughing and smiling and BAM…..look at you with eyes like “What you say Willus??” (okay I am totally dating myself with the Different Strokes reference!!)

I can’t wait for you to see the rest of your little Family and just how much fun his different expressions are in each picture…..PRICELESS!

Big surprises in round packages….

I am going to be out of town for 3 weeks in Oct.  With the advent of this my clients have been having to accomodate waiting for pictures to be taken and then also waiting a bit longer to preview/order/receive your order.  With that I thank you and really am humbled with people that have patience to get their images.  My clients say it is because they “LOVE” my images and to that I thank you as well.  I LOVE taking your families pictures and even when your family is small or just starting to grow!!

With maternity and newborn images time is of the essence!  I am truely sorry for clients who will be delivering and I will not be available to shoot your newborn session {granted you can wait till I get back but the truely squishy-super-sleepy-dreamy newborn poses can really be done best at 2-7 days old}.

Here is Nikki and Chris’s sneak-peek into a few of their images.  I did get a chance to do some bare-skinned shots but I need to confirm with them it is okay to share….these are what I deem “G” rated.

Hope to hear from all that want get in on my Christmas session———times are becoming VERY limited so don’t wait to reserve your spot!

TAG…..I’m it!!!

This is fun since the last time I played ‘tag’ was flashlight tag with my kids over the summer and soon found out that my running abilities were completly lacking and I totally stunk at it!

So this is more my ’speed’!

This is through some of my photog friends and I have been tagged by the very talented Luz Platzer

There are always rules to games so here they are for this one:

1. Link the person who tagged you {CHECK}

2. Mention the rules on your blog{CHECK}

3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours{CHECK see below}

4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them & leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they have been tagged.{CHECK see below also}

6 things you may not know about me ….

1—-I traveled to Spain when I was 16yo.  Drank lots of Sangria (no drinking age there), went to a disco, madeout with a 21 yo from Wales, England…..and lived to tell you all now!

2—-I am a microwave-cleaning fanatic.  I am not sure if I am on the verge of OCD but I cannot STAND a dirty microwave.  I will come over to each and everyone of your homes and clean your microwave spic-n-span.  Come on everyone, put a paper towel over anything you reheat…is it that hard???

3—-I LOVE to watch soccer—okay alot of people know that I like soccer–but I can watch soccer 24/7??  It isn’t the same with on the tele; but if I am at a tournament I could literally go from field to field all day and watch soccer…even if I don’t know a soul on the team.  Granted, it must be 11 v 11 full field, just a bit more interesting play.

4—-I love Q-tips.  I clean my ears practically 3-4 times a day?  HUH, Whatcha say?????

5—-My favorite actor in the whole world is Cary Grant….with my all time favorite movie is “My Favorite Wife” starring Cary Grant and Irene Dunn….it still makes me laugh and I probably seen it at least 40 times!!!

6—-I am okay doing things alone—going to the movies—going shopping—going out to lunch.  Don’t get me wrong, I love company but if I am able and I want to do one of the above I do NOT wait till I have someone to go with. I find MYSELF good company:)

NOW—–I be taggin YOU!!!

Lisa Adams

Shellie Gansz

Beth Eggert

Andrea Hautala

Okay…I am two shy…but I will be back.  Leave a comment if you want to be tagged??? It is kinda fun and completely painless.

Boys, soccer, and team pictures in a whole new light

Here they are, in Indiana and its big open fields and corn husks.  No team shot near the goal.  No team shot by the tournament banner.  Oh, we will probably be getting those but this is for the parents and here is the non-traditional team shot.  New team (for our family) and new coach and new club.  Love the way the boys at ages 11 and 12 can give the hard-core look…and then some look so sweet :)

Then you say…okay lets have a fun one!?!?!?

Senior after my own heart…..

for the love of soccer that is!!  He is a goalie and we did test him on his agility.  My son was eager enough to kick the ball and watch “J” soccer moves and he was definately impressive!

Here is your sneak-peek and thanks for bringing back old memories of jumping fences to get into secured areas….oh, thats right, I COULDN’T jump the fence!!  OKAY—Thanks for making me feel super old and completely out of shape because I couldn’t jump the fence!!!!

Man, I was so HAPPY to see the unlocked area and we were able to get onto the fields…all the shots there were worth it!

Children of the Shoe Maker

Is that how it goes…or something like that???

I finally have been taking a bit more pics of my kids…still impromptu but usually when they are clean and at least they are cooperating.

Here is a couple updated pics of all my kids taken within 3 weeks ago.

I think they are completely adorable and still {as I wipe a tear from my eye} growing WAY too fast.  I told Aron it is okay for him to stop at this age, he doesn’t need to grow anymore and don’t collect $200.00 on his way around.

Where does the time go??? {Seriously, if you have an answer to this question please leave a comment!}
