“Who is that girl behind those Coaches sunglasses??” okay that didn’t sound as good as that ‘who is that girl behind the Foster Grants’ or am I dating myself???? Anyhoo….this is Sara and one of my Senior Models that attends Linden High School {if you want to get a coupon for free wallets meet up with her!!!}, and we went down to Milford and bummed around some to do her Senior shoot.
I love it downtown there and it has ALOT of unique places to shoot at.
She went earlier in the week to scope out some places and make sure her wardrobe arsenal was good with the Milford backdrop. She had some great vision on what she wanted to wear where….say that 5 times fast:), and we have a large assortment of photos to prove it!!!
I also wanted to thank her lovely boyfriend for being an amazing schlepper and user of my reflector—you definately have a talent there!!!

This little girl is the product of two wonderful people! They also happen to be a couple who I photographed their wedding a few years back. LOVE seeing the transition of marriage to family and being a part of documenting the evolution of life just makes me love my job SO, SO much.

It is especially fun when one parent has a passion of some sort, whether they are in the military or love art, I like to incorporate alittle bit of them in the image with the baby. So this father has a musical background and he brought is guitars….at this point in the shoot she was not up to anything but being held and fed…so getting this shot was a bit of a stretch and took some doing and really am fortunate to get anything other than a very upset baby shot!!! She is wearing her black onsies well….:)

Shooting for this salon has been just amazing. They are so talented and trendy not to mention just really fabulous men and women. They carry only the top of the line products with Aveda for hair, coloring and makeup. They also carry some other little goodies like jewelry as handbags that are so cool! They recently added on to the studio to allow for more space as well as adding some stylists.
These girls that I photographed are wearing the most trendy hair styles and color that is up and coming on the beauty scene. If you want a change in your normal “hair-wear” then I would highly recommend going to them. Soccer, school, work, school, soccer, school….okay you get it!! Busy, busy and busy means my blog has been lacking. SOOOO—I am going to try to play catch up with a blog on the St.Clair Family pictures.

2 weeks ago we bombarded downtown Fenton and just had a great time while photographing my girlfriend from high schools immediate and extended family. The extended family went 4 generations and it was my priveledge to document this time in their lives. PLUS–my girlfriends oldest son is home from the Marines for a short leave and this couldn’t have been better timing!! He was so wonderful to indulge me and wore his uniform….the whole shabang (well, lacking the shoes:)

WOW!!!

What an amazingly beautiful treasure we have in the west part of our state! Truely a place that we could have spent an entire day and still would have liked to see more. It didn’t hurt that the special art on loan was from the world renowned Dale Chiluly. I went there knowing that my husband and I would love it but thinking that my 13yo would need to bring a book or something where he could sit and just read if looking at the flowers and the sculptures got ‘too boring’. He suprised me ten-folds and I am still in ‘artistic bliss’ that he was SO into the whole park. Every inch of the gardens and every facet of the sculpures he drank in and LOVED it!!
Not only were we able to share this with our son but my husbands co-worker who is in from Korea for 2 weeks. It is great to share a love of ours with others and I feel blessed that my children will continue to love and cherish the world of art in all its form and glory.
